MathGPT.ai™ Surpasses 10,000 Worked Example Videos, Expanding Support Across Math and Statistics Assignments

MathGPT.ai - 10,000+ Worked Example Videos

In-house developed, interactive videos now provide step-by-step support for every question in the MathGPT.ai library.

PALO ALTO, CA—September 28, 2026—MathGPT.ai, an emerging provider of responsible AI learning and tutoring for higher education mathematics, has surpassed a milestone of 10,000 interactive Worked Example Videos across its college math and statistics assignment question library.

The milestone represents more than an expanding video library. MathGPT.ai is building Worked Example Videos directly into its assignment experience, with the goal of providing students with a worked example for every problem in the platform’s assignment question bank. That means instructors can assign problems knowing students have access to consistent video-based support without having to wonder whether a particular question has an accompanying resource.

The videos are developed in-house by the MathGPT.ai team and designed specifically around the platform’s content. They provide full, step-by-step presentations of similar problems, helping students see the concepts and problem-solving process in action.

Chat with AI tutor about every worked example

They are also interactive, and every worked example can turn into a tutoring experience. Students can pause a Worked Example Video at any point and ask the MathGPT.ai AI Tutor questions about the solution directly within the learning experience. Rather than simply watching a recording, students can use the video as a starting point for asking questions, reviewing a difficult step, and continuing to work through the underlying concept.

“This advancement in our content takes MathGPT.ai well beyond our early days as primarily a cheat-resistant, Socratic AI tutor for math,” said Hung Tran, Founder of MathGPT.ai. “We are continuing to build toward our mission of democratizing math education by giving students more ways to get meaningful support when they need it, while helping faculty save time and make that support more scalable.”

A growing resource across core college math courses

The 10,000-video milestone includes substantial coverage across the college math and statistics courses commonly taught in higher education. The current library includes more than:

  • 1,500 College Algebra Worked Example Videos
  • 4,200 Calculus I, II, and III Worked Example Videos
  • 750 Linear Algebra Worked Example Videos
  • 1,400 Statistics Worked Example Videos
  • And thousands more across additional mathematics topics

For students, the value extends beyond simply having another explanation available. Worked out examples can provide a structured way to approach unfamiliar problems, offer just-in-time support when students are working outside of class, and give students an opportunity to review difficult steps at their own pace. Students can pause, replay, and revisit portions of a solution as needed.

The early response from students is also encouraging. As the Fall 2026 semester gets underway, students are already using Worked Example Videos at rates comparable to other MathGPT.ai learning-support features, including the Socratic AI Tutor and Unlimited Practice.

Built into the broader MathGPT.ai learning experience

Worked Example Videos are one component of a broader approach to supporting students and faculty. MathGPT.ai combines assignment content supporting OER and popular textbooks with automated assignment management and grading, including handwritten work, unlimited practice problems, and a cheat-resistant Socratic AI Tutor designed to guide students through problem solving rather than simply provide answers.

For faculty, this can provide another way to scale student support, particularly in large-enrollment courses, corequisite mathematics, and other settings where students may need additional help outside scheduled class time and office hours. Instructors can direct students to a consistent resource for common procedural questions while preserving class and office-hour time for higher-level discussion, conceptual understanding, and individual support.

The growing library may also give instructors additional flexibility in how they structure assignments and learning activities. Worked examples can be used for preparation before class, reinforcement after instruction, or review before an exam, while students retain the ability to move through the material at their own pace.

As MathGPT.ai continues to expand, our goal remains simple: give students learning support when they need it, while helping faculty make that support easier to provide at scale.

MathGPT.ai is available to higher education institutions, with seamless LMS integration and support for OER and popular textbooks, all for a student-friendly price of just $25 per student per semester.
